Marcelo gutierrez
Born in Guatemala in 1980, Marcelo holds an MBA (2012) and a degree in Administrative Engineering (2005), alongside an extensive background in fine art photography. His work has been featured in national and international exhibitions, including presentations at the Rozas-Botrán Foundation (Arts in May), Art X Art Gallery in Buenos Aires, and the Embassy of Guatemala in Washington, D.C. His accolades include honorable mentions in the Regional Sony Digital Photography Contest (2003) and the Rozas-Botrán Foundation (2009).
Rooted in concept art, his monochrome imagery transforms everyday subjects into poetic narratives. Guided by the motto “transform my imagination into poetic monochrome narratives.,” his passion lies in capturing the quiet magic hidden within the ordinary.
